Summer Training. Heat Training. Humidity Training.

I forgot how humid NYC can get. It’s fairly breezy today, and relatively cool, so I decided to run 3 miles up to Bryce’s apt to pick up my cruiser so I can use it to run errands.
It was fairly breezy along the West Side Highway but the wind was not cold enough to cool me down. At the same time, the breeze was strong enough to add unnecessary resistance, which made me work harder, as a result adding to the rise in my body temperature!

Recap of this morning’s measly 3 mile run:
1. I barely made it
2. Was wondering the whole way up how I did this last summer
3. Decided conclusively that I prefer winter training, and
4. Questioned how the hell I am going to run 6 miles in the middle of July?!?!
