It’s official, I’m abandoning my beach cruiser. I took this bike out of storage thinking that I’d ride it around town, commute, and run errands since I’m comfortable leaving this bike parked outside. 
I was surprised to find that I’m a road bike girl now. This cruiser’s seat was LESS comfortable, the bike itself was SO much heavier, and the ride REALLY slow. In fact, I can’t believe I use to carry this bike up and down 3 flights of stairs, daily, AND rode it over the GWB on the 9W! I haven’t even done the 9W with my road bike.
After cruising in the cruiser for 4 days, I’ve decided to sell it. It was a hard decision because I can’t imagine getting a good price for it since most NYers want vintage hipster bikes.
